The EEV Investor is the culmination of an equity research framework I have developed over the last 25+ years. My investment philosophy has been continuously shaped by my own life experiences, leading to a singular realization: repeatable success in investing is found only when three specific questions are answered in depth. (1) Evaluation: Is this the right business? (2) Environment: Is this the right time? and (3) Valuation: Is this the right price? While answering these has consistently provided me with superior returns, the hurdle for any individual investor is finding the bandwidth for such exhaustive research.
